Designing this memorial has been a humbling experience, honoring those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The memorial is made of granite, is seven and one-half feet tall, nine feet long, and weighs approximately 4,700 pounds. It honors the twenty-three Kentucky State Police officers who have died in the line of duty since the agency's beginning in 1948.
