Designing Your Memorial Tribute
The staff at Holian Granite and Bronze understand how difficult it can be designing a memorial. Our many years of experience have prepared us to assist you in designing a beautiful and very special tribute. Please call, stop in, or e-mail us to assist you with all of the steps outlined below.
Step I
Cemeteries have different guidelines. If you don't know the guidelines we'll work with you to find out what is permissible. Some cemeteries permit only lawn level plaques and markers.
Step II
Choose the type of Memorial: You can choose from either granite or bronze. Each comes in different shapes and sizes. Granite also comes in many different colors. Our staff will familiarize you with the many selections available and will help you make the right selection for the design you're planning. For a greater understanding of the shapes, sizes, colors, and designs of available memorials, you may want to look at the various photos throughout our site.
Step III
Decide upon the wording: Some individuals prefer to keep the wording very simple, while others prefer to add verses, poems, comments, or other personalized information. Our trained staff can offer suggestions that help you decide what's best for you.
Step IV
Select a design: Meet with our staff, who will work with you to create a stunning and beautiful memorial tribute. You can choose from many different designs we already have, or our artists will work with you to create your own personal and unique design. When you view our sandblasted and etched design pages, you will see just a few of the many selections we can engrave on your memorial. Step V
Add final touches and accessories: Once you have decided on the design you want for your memorial tribute, you may also want to add vases, benches, or make other additions. We are happy to help you with suggestions and explain what is available to you. Please phone or e-mail us for more information.
